UCI World Cycling Championships 2013 premier events are the Elite Road Race. The Elite Road Races are this Saturday (women’s) and Sunday (men’s). The men’s race is from Lucca to Florence a long circuit race of 272 km. The woman’s race from Montecatini Terme to Florence is a total distance of 139.65 km. The second half of the women’s has 5 inclines as you can see in the maps below. The best road cyclists in the World will be competing in these events this weekend. If you watch any cycling at all this year these are the races to see.

The UCI World Cycling Championships 2013 are being held in Florence Italy from September 22-29 2013.
This is the event where the best cyclists on the globe come out and show what they have. The big names like Bradley Wiggins, Chris Froome, Tony Martin, Fabian Cancellara, Joaquin Rodriguez Mark Cavendish will all be there to make this a cycling event not to miss. There will be men and womens time trials road races as well as junior classifications.
